Money Origami Heart Step-by-Step Folding Instructions
Start with a fresh dollar bill! For this money heart, we will start with the back of the bill.
STEP 1: Fold the dollar bill in half
Fold the bill in half to make a crease, and then unfold it.
STEP 2: Fold both sides to the crease
Fold the left and right sides to meet the middle crease.
Rub both outer edges well.
STEP 3: Fold the bottom half of the heart
Flip the bill over and fold the bottom corners up to meet the center crease.
Even the edges as much as possible and make the rub the edges of each side.
STEP 4: Fold the top half down
Fold the top part down to meet the bottom half of the heart.
Thoroughly crease the edges of all folds to keep it flat and even.
STEP 5: Squash fold the top of the heart
Open the folds you just made so you can squash-fold both sides.
Squash the edges of the top half of the heart into triangles, as shown.
STEP 6: Fold the last two tips
Simply take the top middle tips and fold them diagonally against the horizontal edge shown on the back.
Fold the front of the top middle tips to the back to finish the heart shape!
