Learn to make an easy origami dog face with these step-by-step instructions.
This is a super simple beginner-level origami craft that anyone can quickly make in 2-3 minutes.
With this design, you will be able to draw a face on this paper dog after it is completed.
Let’s get folding!
In this guide, we used basic square origami paper with the same color on both sides, but the multi-colored paper is fine.
If you need square paper but don’t have any, you can just cut regular paper into a square.
1. Fold the paper in half from point to point
Be sure to crease each fold well after you have completed it.
2. Fold the paper in half again
Fold the paper in half from left to right point.
3. Fold one of the flaps to make an ear
This fold doesn’t have to be exact, you are just forming one ear.
Flip the paper over after you have creased the fold.
4. Fold the other ear to evenly match
Similar to the last fold, fold up the ear as evenly as possible to match the other one.
Once you have creased the fold, unfold the whole thing in order to move to step 5.
5. Shape the chin and mouth by folding the bottom up
You can make this as big or small as you want, it depends on how big you want the mouth and nose.
6. Shape the nose by folding the tip down
Make the nose the size and shape you want by folding the tip of the bottom triangle-down.
Now you can draw a face on your paper dog!
